Refund & Returns Policy

Prettylittlebag.com — Last updated: 4 August 2026

At Prettylittlebag, every bag is personally inspected and hand-packed before it reaches you. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. This policy explains your rights to cancel, return, and receive a refund or exchange, in line with UK consumer law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

1. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

If you are a consumer shopping from the UK, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, simply let us know within 14 days of delivery by using our Contact form or emailing us (see Section 8).

Once you have told us you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to send the item(s) back to us.

2. How to return an item

  • Contact us via our Contact page with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
  • We will confirm the return address and any return instructions.
  • Items must be returned unused, unworn, with all original tags and packaging (including dust bags/boxes) attached.
  • We recommend using a tracked or signed-for delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.

3. Condition of returned goods

Returned bags must be in their original, unused condition — free from marks, scratches, odours (e.g. perfume/smoke) and signs of wear. We reserve the right to refuse a refund, or to apply a reasonable deduction, if a returned item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect it, in line with your statutory right to examine goods as you would in a shop.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 14 days. Refunds include the standard delivery cost you originally paid, but not any premium/express delivery upgrade.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or was sent to you in error.

5. Faulty or damaged items

If your bag arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within a reasonable time of delivery with photos of the issue. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods, and we will cover the cost of returning a genuinely faulty item.

6. Non-returnable items

  • Items marked as final sale or clearance (where stated at the time of purchase).
  • Gift cards.
  • Items that have been used, worn, or damaged by the customer after delivery.

7. Exchanges

If you would like a different colour, size, or style, please request a return/refund and place a new order — this ensures you receive your replacement as quickly as possible. Contact us if you'd like help finding the right style.

8. Contact us about a return

Customer Services: use the contact form, or email us at [insert Prettylittlebag customer service email address].

Before publishing: insert your customer service email address and confirm the returns/postal address for customers, and confirm whether any product lines (e.g. sale items) should be marked non-returnable. This page is a general template based on UK consumer law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015) and is not a substitute for legal advice — a solicitor should review it before publishing, particularly for international orders.
